The 8th round of Czech Open series took place last weekend in Mlada Boleslav. Home club prepared challenging track â“ bumpy & low grip, which was however fun to drive.

We arrived to the track on Friday for free practice. We started with my setup from last race on this track and it worked great, so we did only a few small changes to make my XB8â™16 easier to drive.
In qualifications I made few errors in Q1, where Max Gotzl& his XB8â™16 on PL Switchblade X2 took TQ. However in the rest three rounds it was my FX powered XB8â™16, which took TQ and set the fastest time over 5 minutes â“ overall TQ!

In semifinal my car was just awesome and managed to take the win with about one and half lap in front of 2nd driver and took pole position for the main final. In the main final my XB8â™16 on PL HoleShots X3 continued its dominance and lead the race from start to finish! Congratulations to Max Gotzl for finishing 5th and winning Junior class!
